Rooftop Movies at the Montalbán – Get Out

A night of food and frights, the Montalbán Theater presents Get Out as part of its Rooftop Movies series.

The famous theater boasts an impressive rooftop space centered in the heart of the Hollywood area. The space, particularly in the evening, is well-suited for a screening. Its location in a major Hollywood center provides fantastic views of the neighboring area while simultaneously granting a bit of privacy. Coupled with the Montalbán’s special wireless noise-cancelling headphones, the location truly offers an intimate viewing experience.

This evening, the rooftop offered dishes ranging from Umami Burger, plates of sushi, and samples of Snow Monkey ice cream, all alongside an open bar. As patrons indulged in the fantastic spread, they had the chance to preview a new musical, Accidental Joy, through one of the channels on their headphones. Both the food and fun of the evening eventually led to a screening of Jordan Peele’s Get Out, the milestone horror flick that captivated audiences in 2017.

The film selection for later dates at the Rooftop offer equally exciting films from across genres and eras, from Golden Age Hollywood (Sunset Boulevard, Some Like It Hot) to contemporary classics (Mad Max: Fury Road, The Departed). All in all, it looks like there’s something for everybody headed to the Montalbán in the next few months, so consider marking your calendars for a night filled with food, fun, and cinema.
